Bernadette Fernandez has played piano since she was four years old and has been singing for as long as she can remember. Her greatest achievements in piano are winning the piano category in the Brazosport Young Artist Competition and performing "Clair De Lune" with the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. For voice, she competed in the All-State process for four years, earning a spot in the All-State Small School Mixed Choir in her senior year of high school. She has also done numerous recitals in both voice and piano.
Have a look at my lesson(s):
Bernadette is pursuing a Bachelor's in Music Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio and studies under Professor Crystal Jarrell Johnson for voice and Dr. Hurd for piano. In the spring semester, she received the Vocal Area Faculty Encouragement Award reward and was one of the recipients of the Choral Service Award. She has been teaching piano lessons for five years and is very excited to join the Institute of Musical Arts as a piano and voice teacher.
