Piano Instructor

Daniel Maldonado

Born in Texas and raised in Mexico, Daniel's musical upbringing was heavily influenced by popular music in two languages. By the time he graduated high school, Daniel could already play several instruments and was deeply interested in pursuing a musical career. During his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M International University (Laredo, TX) in 2015, Daniel won first place for the Laredo International Piano Competition.

Have a look at my lesson(s):

Daniel began teaching in 2013 at some local after-school music programs. At Centro de Artes y Música, he taught group lessons for children, teens, and adults. However, it was the Young Pianist Program at his alma mater that allowed him to gain experience teaching private lessons.

Overall, Daniel is a patient instructor who focuses on healthy practice habits and making music education relatable to the current music industry. He hopes to keep building relationships with students of all ages who share a curiosity for music.
